Fuel Cell

 

Refuelling and recharging are quick and easy for fuel cell-powered trucks, while also reducing your carbon footprint.

Lead-acid batteries

 

Lead-acid batteries are the most cost-effective energy solution, but they require regular maintenance to keep them in optimal condition.

The batteries require a separate charging room and take 8–12 hours to fully charge. It is also necessary to top up the battery water regularly. Lead-acid batteries have 1,500 charge cycles, and the ideal time to recharge them is when the remaining charge is 20%.

Internal combustion engines

A forklift with an internal combustion engine has a lower initial cost than an electric forklift.

Thermal trucks are suitable for outdoor applications and perform well in adverse weather conditions, such as rain.

CESAB's range of internal combustion counterbalanced trucks has lower emissions than required by the latest European Stage V emissions regulations and is available in two different fuel options: diesel and LPG, with a load capacity of up to eight tonnes.
